How to convert the file system of a partition?
What is Partition Genius?

When should you convert the file system of partition?
Do you want to change the file system of a designated partition from FAT32 to NTFS or the other way around? Relax. All these problems can be easily solved by the tool of Partition Resizing in powerful Partition Genius.
Procedure of converting the file system of partition:
- To begin, please double click Spotmau icon and enter PowerSuite 2009’s interface, follow these steps: Self Service —>PowerSuite 2009 Wincare—> Partition Genius, then you can have the interface looked just like the followed picture.


The general condition of hard disk(s) (including capacity, free space, and so forth) will be shown on the interface in a list and a block area as above.
2. You can select a designated volume by clicking it either in the list or in the block area.


The functions button on the top of interface is also listed in the pop-up menu when you right click the designated volume in the block area.

3. Firstly please right click the designated one in the block area, and choose “Convert…”

4. In this case, we take (F :) for example. The initial file system of (F :) is NTFS, and we will change it into FAT32.”

Tips: Converting file system may cause damages to your data, therefore data backup is recommended.
5. Click
and you will see the progress of converting. Please wait for a few seconds.

6. When the operation is completed, you can see the two new partitions on the interface like this:
